A Message From the Editor

Good Morning. Kirkland & Ellis has opened an office in Frankfurt -- its second in Germany -- hiring a partner from Latham & Watkins. Also, more lawyers are getting involved in the U.S. Presidential race, including Uber's legal chief Tony West, who is taking unpaid leave to campaign for Kamala Harris (who happens to be his sister-in-law.) And Lululemon is the subject of greenwashing complaints in both France and Canada, as regulators take steps to ensure that companies are rewarded for actively working to mitigate climate change—not just claiming they are doing it.
