KKR is having a busy week, raising its stake in energy giant Eni’s Enilive division, investing in a German energy service provider and, via its portfolio company Accountor, nearing the end of a take-private of a Finnish software provider for SMEs.
Next, we look at some data from the Global Private Capital Association that suggestslast year was a strong one for private capital activity in emerging markets.

It’s been a little quiet for deals of late, but KKR has bucked the trend with three deal announcements.

Emerging markets enjoyed a strong 2024, according to data from the Global Private Capital Association, which has over 300 members managing $2 trillion of assets in 130 countries.
