On Super Tuesday eve, Klobuchar ends her presidential bid. Amy Klobuchar’s campaign says she will endorse Joe Biden. Klobuchar’s news came a day after Pete Buttigieg announced his departure from the presidential race, who’s also backing the former vice president for the party’s presidential nomination. 

What happens to the early ballots for Buttigieg and Klobuchar? Minnesota DFLers will still see 15 candidates on tomorrow’s ballot, even though just five of them remain active on Super Tuesday eve. So far, more than 57,000 DFL early ballots have been accepted in Minnesota, and it’s too late for them to cancel those ballots, which was an option until last Tuesday, Feb. 25.

Six died so far from COVID-19 in the U.S.; some positive signs emerging from China. U.S. health officials announced on Monday that four more people, all in Washington state, died of the disease, bringing the total to six. Meanwhile, new cases in China dropped to their lowest level in six weeks, reporting 202 new cases.
