Hi John, Once again more evidence has emerged that Apple is experiencing serious problems with iPhone sales.
Online retailer Kogan has blamed a sharp fall in new Apple products, in particular the new iPhone, for a drop in revenue of its global brands for the first half of full-year 2019, saying that revenue fell by 46.7% during the period. Telstra says it has launched a new service on its busiest subsea cable routes in Asia, to ensure continuous connections. The service has been started in collaboration with Ericsson and Ciena. Germany-based open source provider SUSE has announced it will support the use of Intel Optane DC persistent memory by users of SAP HANA. US communications provider CenturyLink has chosen Singapore for its eighth global security operations centre in order to offer Asian customers protection from security threats. Forty-two percent of consumers in Australia now use digital voice assistants compared to 77% in China and 75% in India, according to a survey conducted by business services provider Accenture.
