Announcing the KQED Fest Program! | Saturday, April 29 | 11am-6pm KQED Headquarters & York Street In Person: Free | |
| On Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 11 am, spend the day with KQED, the Bay Area’s beloved public media station, for a block party and open house at our San Francisco Mission District headquarters! Check out some highlights below: Get informed with thoughtful conversations from KQED programs like Forum and Political Breakdown live onstage with guests including hip hop artist and filmmaker Boots Riley, drag artist and activist Sister Roma, and NPR’s Ailsa Chang. Get inspired by local musical artists like headliners Lyrics Born, La Doña and more on Noise Pop's Homegrown Stage. Marvel at pop-up performances by local arts organizations like Carnaval San Francisco, Cheer SF, and Rollerdance. Get involved by going behind the scenes with KQED’s pod squad for Bay Curious Trivia & Book Signing, workshops and listening parties for shows like Rightnowish, and recording content of your own. And enjoy family-friendly activities at our street fair, like mural painting with Precita Eyes and making your own zine with SF Zine Fest. Savor Bay Area flavors by Cochinita, Marley’s Treats, and Vegan Mob. Experience all these ways and more that KQED informs, involves and inspires you every day, and gather with your community to discover together. RSVP for updates about the full program and music lineup here. Concert stage presented in partnership with Noise Pop | |
