| This week, July 26–30, SFJAZZ celebrates the music of the Pulitzer Prize– and Grammy-winning composer John Luther Adams. The first two concerts, including the world premiere of Everything That Rises on July 28, are performed by the JACK Quartet, one of the world’s premier chamber groups. Doug Perkins leads a number of percussion works, including the 80-minute outdoor piece Inuksuit, and the week also features Veils and Vesper, a six-hour sound installation at Grace Cathedral.
