| On April 6, KQED's Forum travels to Santa Rosa for an in-depth live broadcast. Forum's Friday host and North Bay resident Mina Kim returns to Santa Rosa six months after the wildfires to reflect and look forward with local officials, residents and others rebuilding their communities and lives in the wake of the destruction. Audience members will have an opportunity to contribute questions to the conversation, while also getting a behind-the-scenes look at how Forum is produced.
Admission is free, but tickets are required for this special event.

| This week, KQED, in partnership with the Center for Investigative Reporting, rolled out a multipart investigative series exploring evacuation order delays, systems break downs and communication failures during the North Bay fires. KQED reporters Lisa Pickoff-White, Marisa Lagos and Sukey Lewis, along with editors Vinnee Tong and Erika Kelly and producers Sonja Hutson and Peter Arcuni, listened to thousands of 911 calls and dispatch recordings, and interviewed more than a dozen officials, survivors and first responders to try and figure out what went wrong.
Download this week's special California Report Magazine episode on the investigation here. And follow all of the investigative coverage at kqed.org/fireinvestigation.
