New season new colour offerings!

Colour and Parisian chic are at the core of Lafont’s exclusive approach to craftsmanship and design. For decades Lafont has produced eyeglass frames and sunglasses for all, with a broad range of collections. For a more casual approach, the Lafont Issy & LA collection presents styles in both acetate and metal.

This season Thomas Lafont expands on metal offerings with four new designs – CLIC, CLAC, CHUT and CRAC. Infused with bright pops of colour the unique silhouettes are made from stainless steel and incorporate both matte and shiny finishes.

The new acetate frames - COI, COMMENT and CEPENDANT, pair bold acetate with geometrically inspired shapes. Offered at an entry-level price point the Lafont Issy & LA collection provides a premier, hand-crafted French-made product at an affordable cost.

Lafont recently partnered with Toulouse-based fashion influencers Aure-Line and Loïc of @LaBelleBasket. Their fresh take on eyewear inspires a cool and relaxed vibe.

Lafont’s production dates back more than forty years in close collaboration with the Jura- based manufacturer Thierry S.A. Lafont and Thierry S.A. share a passion for combining state-of-the-art manufacturing processes with traditional French craftsmanship.

With 140 artisans, working at 2 manufacturing facilities, the Thierry group produces over 500,000 frames per year, making the manufacturer the premiere eyewear maker in France.

History :
Since 1973, the excellence of the Lafont brand has been built on the know-how and craftsmanship of a factory in the Jura region owned by the Thierry family. 80% of the colors in the Lafont acetate and metal collection are absolutely exclusive, thanks to the creation of original patterns and colours of the in house design studio.
