Pedro Snchez takes part in fun run against gender-based violence held on Sunday morning in Madrid

The Acting President of the Government, Pedro Snchez, took part in the 6th Fun Run against gender-based violence held on Sunday morning in Madrid, with the aim of raising society's awareness of the need to stamp out this scourge which has taken the lives of almost 1,000 women and close to 30 children in Spain since records began back in 2003.

Pedro Snchez attends informal dinner in Brussels to make progress on distribution of senior positions within European Union

The Acting President of the Government, Pedro Snchez, attended an informal dinner in Brussels with some of his European counterparts who are negotiating on behalf of the three main political families in the next European Parliament, to make process on negotiations on the distribution of senior positions in the EU institutions, which will be definitively decided at the upcoming European Council on 20 and 21 June.

The government also reported that Spain will host one of the three next generation European supercomputers and agreed to allocate subsidies to women's football and update the environmental goals of the Spanish Marine Strategies.

The Acting President of the Government, Pedro Snchez, announcement that he will accept the commission from King Felipe VI to form a new government and that he will begin the round of formal contacts next week with a view to the investiture session.
