The Acting President of the Government, Pedro Snchez, took part on Friday in the 6th South European Union Summit held in Valletta (Malta), an informal forum for dialogue that gathers together Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Cyprus, Malta and Greece to address the main issues that affect the region, such as the migratory challenge and climate change.
The Plan contains actions proposed by 10 ministerial departments for the prevention, information, monitoring and extinction of wildfires and establishes State support for regional governments, which have jurisdiction in this matter.
The Acting President of the Government, Pedro Snchez, visited Barcelona Supercomputing Center - which has been selected by the European Commission to house the MareNostrum 5 supercomputer, one of the large European supercomputers under the high performance EuroHPC initiative, with an investment of 100 million euros from the European Union for its installation.
