Lafayette city, parish councils order bars to close early on Mardi Gras

Happy Friday, Acadiana business news readers. Let's get down to the business news of the day now that the sun has finally made an appearance. 

Mardi Gras revelry in Lafayette will be ending two hours early this year as the city and parish councils have ordered bars to close at midnight. The City and Parish councils both approved ordinances Wednesday ordering bars to stop serving alcohol at midnight and for bar patrons to leave the premises.
