Lafayette renters are getting some of the best values among U.S. metros, report shows

the Lafayette renter market is become more affordable, according to national industry research firms. According to Rentcafe.com, renters in Lafayette can get one of the highest amounts of square feet for $1,500 of rental payments. The median rates in Lafayette, which last year were the highest in the state, have dropped, with the median rate for a one-bedroom unit now under $1,000.
