To mark its 30th anniversary, Roland-Garros is collaborating with the house of Lafont to create two limited-edition acetate sunglass frames! Incorporating Roland-Garros’ signature colors, the Lafont design studio created one frame for women, SUZANNE, and one frame for men, MARCEL. Made from materials specifically developed for this collaboration, both styles express a retro-chic spirit in a thoroughly modern way, ideal for every day. SUZANNE – a tribute to the French tennis star Suzanne Lenglen, features a dark tortoiseshell front and a "Saint André’s cross" inside layer, one of Roland-Garros’ iconic patterns. This acetate model will elegantly frame and flatter women who appreciate the allure of a beautifully designed pair of sunglasses. MARCEL pays homage to the famous tennis player Marcel Bernard, and features a dark tortoiseshell front and a "Mousquetaires’ stripe" inside layer displaying the tournament’s colours. This frame will enhance the look of distinguished men the world over. Both of these models are part of a specially manufactured series of 150, which are numbered and certified "French Origin Guaranteed". The limited-edition frames are available for sale at Lafont boutiques, rolandgarros.com and at the tournament stadium.
