Lali García is a self thought peruvian artist, born in 1978.
Her art takes place within an imaginary or make believe context. She uses different symbols which allude to her characters subconscious or unconscious minds, and the constant battel between their most profound wishes and the repressing ways of the world which surrounds them.
Her work has been recently selected for The International Biennal Portrait Competition 2021, Iconic 2021, and Painting the figure now show 2020. Her work "Rain" is part of The Lunar Codex / Artist on the moon [AOTM] 2022 project. Lali is exhibiting internationally, currently through 33 Contemporary Gallery - Chicago
