Land Values Have the Resilience of a Dandelion
 
Headwinds in interest rates, inflation and commodity prices seem to have little effect on land values, though single-digit decreases in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan and Ohio have been reported.
 
 
 

Since July 2023, the Federal Reserve has kept its benchmark interest rate steady at a 23-year high of 5.25% to 5.5%. In the last half of the year, the Fed has four more chances to cut interest rates. Economists weigh in on the likelihood of interest rate cuts.
