Sunday, Nov. 24, 6pm, is the deadline for ordering our annual Thanksgiving carryout.

ENTRÉES, DINNERS, & FAMILY PACKS

🍁 Dinners come with green beans, sweet potatoes, stuffing, and cranberry relish.

🍁 EntrĂ©es come with green beans.

🍁 Family Packs are just the main item with sauces but no sides.

  • Stuffed Veggie Roast: Seasoned tofu roulade stuffed with classic herb stuffing, topped with country gravy.
  • Wellington with Mushroom GlacĂ©: Puff pastry filled with beefy seitan, spinach, mushroom, bell pepper, onion sautĂ©, topped with a madeira shiitake demi-glacĂ©.
  • Truffle Mushroom Lentil Loaf: Hearty grains, lentils & mushrooms in a classic loaf with white truffle sauce. GF

MAKE YOUR OWN SANDWICHES:

Orders are chilled and should remain in your fridge until ready to reheat. Reheating instructions are included with every order.

GF: These items do not contain gluten ingredients but are prepared in a shared kitchen.

Schedule and Details:

Deadline for Thanksgiving orders is Sunday, November 24, 6pm. 

Pickup location and hours:

Have order numbers ready for pickup, Wednesday, November 27, 12pm–7pm, in the patio area of our Lakeview location only. All orders must be picked up no later than 7pm.

Closed Thanksgiving Day:

Both locations will be closed Thursday and reopen with regular hours Friday, November 29.

đŸ„Ł Looking for a gluten-free alternative to stuffing?

Jo’s quinoa pilaf recipe is naturally gluten free and a good source of protein. Perfect for holiday guests who want something warming and nutritious. Serve it as an enticing side to our gluten-friendly Mushroom Lentil Loaf and our other gluten-friendly Thanksgiving options.

Quinoa Pilaf

Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients:

1 cup quinoa
2 cups water 
1 tablespoon olive oil 
1/3 cup chopped onions or green onions 
1 cup sliced mushrooms 
1 small carrot, grated 
œ cup frozen peas 
Œ cup chopped parsley 
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Rinse the quinoa well and drain in a fine strainer.
  2. In a medium pot, bring the water to a boil then add the quinoa.
  3. Cover and turn down to simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until liquid is absorbed and quinoa is tender. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes.
  4. In a medium skillet, heat the oil and sauté the onions and mushrooms 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Add carrot and peas to the sauté pan, cover, turn off heat, and let sit until the carrot and peas have been heated through.
  6. Stir vegetables into the quinoa.
  7. Add the parsley and season to taste.

Baker’s Note: Add any vegetables or herbs you prefer.

All our Thanksgiving options are vegan but the following items are also gluten friendly:

  • Mushroom Lentil Loaf: A hearty veggie loaf made of mushrooms, lentils, wild rice & grains accompanied with white truffle mushroom sauce
  • Green Beans Amandine: Comes with the Mushroom Lentil Loaf
  • Holiday Sweet Potatoes: Available on the a la carte menu
  • Jalapeño Corn Fritters: Available on the a la carte menu
  • Pumpkin Chocolate Cheesecake: From the dessert menu

Selection of our Thanksgiving sides and desserts

Menu items that work best if you’re freezing for later (Hanukkah, Christmas, New Years) include:

  • The sides (except the stuffing) and desserts
  • Wellington with Shiitake Demi GlacĂ©
  • Mushroom Lentil Loaf with White Truffle Mushroom Sauce
  • Italian- or corned beef-style seitan for use in your own recipes*

*Hot Tip: If you’re freezing our famous corned-beef or Italian-style seitan slices for say
sandwiches on New Year's Eve, divvy them up into smaller portions and you won’t have to thaw the whole container at once.

And remember wrap everything well or double wrap because freezers are low humidity environments.
