This year marks 46 years of UK and Vietnam diplomatic relations. Both countries have signaled a clear desire to further deepen their collaboration on areas including trade and investment. Last year, the total trade between the UK and Vietnam was worth over £6 billion.
 
The Meet the UK event, Initiated and organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam (MoFA) with the support of the British Embassy in Hanoi, British Business Group Vietnam (BBGV), will present an opportunity for Vietnamese and UK businesses as well as policy makers to enter into direct dialogue and cooperation. The event is expected to attract 300 participants, including high-level leaders from 63 provincial governments.
 
Meet the UK will present best practice from the UK, which has contributed to Vietnam’s development and will pave the way for further trade and investment agreements between the two countries.
