Last chance to bid!
Bidding closes TODAY at 7 p.m. EST. Good luck! Last night, we held our annual Geographica dinner at the Canadian Museum of History in Gatineau. In the spectacular Grand Hall, surrounded by towering totem poles, we heard profound reflections from inspiring speakers like Zita Cobb, Jameel Janjua, and Valérie Courtois. A common thread ran through all the remarks: geography matters. To forge a better Canada — and world — we must start with the places we love. That is why the Royal Canadian Geographical Society exists: to make Canada better known, and by extension, better loved. We believe geography is the ideal lens through which to understand and solve the defining challenges of our time, and we know you share this vision. But we need your help. As a non-profit organization, the Society relies on the support of individuals who believe in the importance of our work and the impact of programs like Canadian Geographic Education and our flagship publication, Canadian Geographic magazine. Our annual silent auction closes tonight and we are so close to meeting our fundraising goal of $175,000. Will you help us get there? Browse the incredible trips below or visit the auction website and get your bids in before 7 p.m. EST! Together, we can make Canada better known to Canadians and the world. The Royal Canadian Geographical Society gratefully acknowledges the generosity of those who donated trips, experiences and items to support our fundraising efforts. |
