This webinar will provide an in-depth look at the CMS K-Tags related to the 2012 edition of the Life Safety Code. The CMS Fire Safety document (K-Tags) went from 27 pages for the 2000 edition of the Life Safety Code to 50 pages for the 2012 edition and now contains K-Tags related to NFPA 99, the Healthcare Facilities Code. Get more acquainted with what has been added and what is relevant to healthcare organizations.

Attendees will:

  • Learn about new and modified K-Tags, and see excerpts of CMS fire safety survey K-Tags
  • Understand the date for “new” vs. “existing” healthcare and the difference between “clinical” vs. “safety needs” locking arrangements
