The role of women in business has been a passionate debate worldwide. Along with the Time’s up movement, more and more women are looking to get into business, even in male-dominated fields such as STEM fields. Vietnam currently has one of the highest female labor-force participation rates in the world (according to the Economist) and ranks second in the number of women in senior management among Asian countries (quoted from Grant Thornton’s research) surpassing larger economies such as Japan or Singapore.
Following that, BBGV is proud to host the event Women in business in Hanoi with the participation of profound women leaders. The event will highlight and discuss opportunities for women entrepreneurs, the challenges for women in STEM careers, ways to promote diversity across different industries and inspire as well as empower women to take leadership in business in Vietnam.
