Salsa pigs are really good-- fast and easy!

Alesa in our Test Kitchen said, "You're eating hot dogs for breakfast!"

I reminded her that she ate sausages for breakfast. (You can make pigs in a blanket with sausages too.)

These were made with "half-dogs," hot dogs cut in half and with salsa bread. (Yes, that is a bread mix we carry.) One bread mix will make 32 of these half dogs.

Eat some now, put some in the refrigerator, and some in the freezer. I nuked four of them for forty seconds for breakfast. You can't go through the drive through that fast.

I've got enough left for one more meal.
This is a great sandwich spread!
We used it as a dipping sauce for our pigs.

It's made with 2 tablespoons sweet relish, 1 tablespoon mayo, 2 teaspoons ketchup, and 1 tablespoon dijonnaise. Adjust the components tosuit your taste.

This will make about 1/3 cup. Double it if you want more.

It's a FREE Saturday event in the store!

We'll show you how to make them and give you one free! That's a really good peach filling in a dessert cup topped with ice cream, whipped cream, and a caramel syrup.
