I love summer! The days are now warm and the evenings pleasant. The snow has retreated to the tops of the mountains. (Though I don't understandtonight's frost warning.)
Yesterday, we drove to Cave Falls just inside the southwest corner of Yellowstone Park. The drive was gorgeous with verdant farmlands below and in the higher country, meadows covered in flowers. Even though it was a weekend, we had the area to ourselves. Not a single car at the falls or the ranger station.
