New Speakers Join the 2024 Aspen Ideas Festival Lineup

Over one extraordinary week in June, renowned journalist and editor Tina Brown is assembling a remarkable cast of leaders and storytellers to share ideas that inspire. We’re delighted to announce the next group of speakers joining us in the Rocky Mountains this summer:

  • 68th U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, having just left his role as President Biden’s climate envoy, shares notes from the field on how global leaders are tackling climate inaction.

  • New York University Law Professor Melissa Murray reviews the status of women in post-Roe America and the many high-stakes decisions expected from the U.S. Supreme Court by the end of June.

  • Explore the intersection of arts, society, and identity with conceptual artist Hank Willis Thomas.

  • Journalist Fareed Zakaria discusses his latest book, “Age of Revolutions: Progress and Backlash from 1600 to the Present.”

  • Is man’s best friend the key to human longevity? Hear from Celine Halioua, founder and CEO of Loyal, a biotech startup developing drugs intended to help dogs live longer, healthier lives.

  • Utah Governor Spencer Cox and Colorado Governor Jared Polis come from opposite sides of the aisle, but as chair and vice chair of the National Governors Association, they make the case that healthy disagreements can lead to better policy.

  • Journalist and host of NPR’s “1A” Jenn White helps us make sense of the turbulent news cycle.

  • How would a China-Taiwan crisis unfold? Historian Niall Ferguson, Milbank Family Senior Fellow at Stanford’s Hoover Institution and a senior faculty fellow of Harvard’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, games it out.

  • Speakers will be joined on stage by NBCUniversal News Group media personalities and anchors, including Jenna Bush Hager, co-host of “TODAY with Hoda & Jenna.”

You don’t want to miss out. There’s still opportunity to secure your pass to the 2024 Aspen Ideas Festival at a discounted rate — save $500 when you buy before March 29.
