Dear Reader: We are grateful to those who have already made a donation to the Middle East Forum in 2017. If you have not yet made a gift, you can do so by clicking here. Remember to make your gift online to the Middle East Forum by midnight, tonight, December 31, 2017, to ensure tax credit for 2017 and eligibility for 2018 events. I hope you, as one of our 90,000 subscribers, agree that we have set the standard for insightful Middle East analyses forwarding American interests from diplomacy, to terrorism, to academic, and media malfeasance.
Here are three examples of our strategic outlook: (1) The Israel Victory Project: We take the goal – a secure Israel – for granted and developed the original idea of putting aside diplomacy and instead calling for an Israel victory over the Palestinians. Our Israel Victory caucuses in the U.S. House and Israeli Knesset have 31 and 26 members, respectively. According to The Guardian, Al-Monitor, and NPR, President Trump adopted our view when he recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and ordered the embassy moved there. (2) Extreme vetting: We take the goal – keeping Islamists out – for granted and produced a detailed plan to identify and exclude Islamists, as opposed to all Muslims. We have met with Trump administration officials and Congressional committees to implement this version of extreme vetting and legislation is in the works. Already, Islamists have been denied entry. You Can Still Make Your End of 2017, Tax-Deductible Donation to the Middle East Forum Before Midnight Here. (3) Anti-immigration parties in Europe: We take the goal – maintaining Western civilization – for granted and argue that these parties, such as the PVV in the Netherlands and the AfD in Germany, need to be worked with to moderate their polices and give them governing experience. Assuming that immigration curbs in Europe are inevitable, these parties need to be helped, not marginalized. Toward this end, we have provided counsel to their leaders and funding for their legal defense.” The Middle East Forum is a publicly supported, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax deductible.
