A glimpse of Jonny Hannah's Darktown Seaside Beano... Take a sneak peek inside our plan chest as we begin to receive some of the entries for Jonny Hannah's epic seaside-themed show, opening here at Atelier on Friday 22nd September. In our top draw so far are brilliant pieces from Peter Chrisp, Lisa Wolfe, Eska Marsh, Hannah Forward, and Georgia Foxglove, and we can't wait to see the rest. They will be part of a lineup of 50 A3-sized 'postcards' from around 50 contemporary printmakers, all going on sale for £150 a piece at 6pm on the 22nd for the opening of the show. It's going to be a brilliant night. Don't forget to RSVP to let us know if you're coming. Special delivery... Also, don't forget to book your tickets for Jonny's band The Postmen, who will play here in the arches on Friday 27th October. Tickets are £10, to include a drink, and are available here. Join Johnny for an exhibition walk-around and Q&A at 6pm, followed by The Postmen at 8pm. |
