In case you missed it, in September we launched our 10th annual research into the Sustainability Reporting Performance of the FTSE 100, as well as three other international indices: the CAC 40, DOW 30 and IBEX 35. Among the findings this year, was an increase in the number of commitments to Net Zero as well as a rise in the number of companies setting science-based targets (SBTs).
In 2020, our criteria for scoring has been updated to align with the latest reporting best practice as well as the robust actions needed in order for us to reach our important goal of Net Zero. Find out what progress businesses are making on our urgent climate goals by downloading the report.
In discussion with the sustainable business leaders
We invited the top ranking businesses in our study to share their experiences on sustainable business leadership at our launch event. We were delighted to be joined by Acciona, BT Group, Microsoft and Unilever.
With a complementary portfolio of services and expertise, Atos and EcoAct aim to extend the range of carbon reduction digital solutions, services, and strategies to further support our clients at every stage of their journey towards net zero.
In partnership with Lloyds Banking Group and NatWest Group, we have devised a framework to calculate emissions from a workforce increasingly based at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) passed their 5th Anniversary. With still much progress to be made, we look at how companies can engage with them to create more resilient and sustainable supply chains.
The report reveals that although an increasing number of companies are setting a Net Zero target, there is an absence of a clearly defined strategy for many. For all the headline findings, read our press release.
