Fife Health Promotion Service is partnering with Our Minds Matter and the Shout text messaging service to offer free, confidential mental health support to people living in Fife who are experiencing distress.

The service launched on 1st December and can be accessed by simply texting the word ‘Fife’ to 85258. The service is completely free from all major UK mobile networks and won’t appear on phone bills. 

Just Enterprise Start-Up Support For The Third Sector In Scotland

Just Enterprise is a Scottish Government-funded programme that helps to sustain, develop and grow Scotland’s third sector.

This service offers start-up business consultancy support and learning events for social entrepreneurs and early-stage social enterprises.

East Neuk Salt Co. has launched a new partnership with Laphroaig, in a move which will see its salt tasted around the world. 

Since early November, consumers have been able to purchase a range of Laphroaig whiskies and an East Neuk Salt Co. peated salt pouch, bringing a whole new dimension to taste.

Realising Hydrogen’ Potential

A pathway to help make Scotland a world leader in hydrogen production has been published.

The Hydrogen Action Plan sets out steps to help the emerging hydrogen sector in Scotland achieve an ambition of 5 Gigawatts (GW) of renewable and low-carbon hydrogen - equivalent to a sixth of Scotland’s energy needs - by 2030.

It also reaffirms an ambition to produce 25 GW by 2045, with a hydrogen economy potentially supporting more than 300,000 jobs.

Vanbuildz Moves To Realise Growth Potential

A specialist custom campervan and sports utility vehicle conversion business, which emerged from a passion for travel and the outdoors, has relocated to Mitchelston Industrial Estate to support its growth plans. 

VanBuildz, a family-run business, which employs four people, has enjoyed a successful, and busy, initial period of trading. The new premises offer a small showroom, office and large working area as well as storage facilities, which will enable the business to expand its offering, including the creation of a rental service.
