Sunhope Packaging Machinery (ZHENJIANG) Co., Ltd a world-leading provider of innovative packaging solutions, is establishing a new UK division called Sunhope Packaging Machinery (UK) Ltd in Glenrothes.

Sunhope Packaging Machinery (ZHENJIANG) Co., has collaborated with Scottish Development International (SDI) and InvestFife to identify and acquire the ideal site at Southfield Industrial Estate.

Scottish Loan Scheme

The Scottish Loan Scheme can provide loan funding of £250,000 to £2 million to growth-focused Scottish companies that have a viable business plan and a clear ability to repay the debt.

Loans can be used for a variety of purposes, including, working capital, capital expenditure, growth funding, international expansion and marketing.

Fife Start-Up Grant

Fife Council’s Start-Up Grant can provide individuals who intend to start a business in Fife with up to £500 towards the costs involved in starting to trade. Eligible costs include things such as equipment, stock and certification.

The Start-Up Grant is delivered by Business Gateway Fife on behalf of Fife Council and is fully funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Scottish Venture Fund

The Scottish Venture Fund invests in high-growth potential, early-stage companies from start-up/spin-out, seeking funding to develop innovative products/services/business models and/or create or develop new markets.

The role of the Scottish Venture Fund is to fund an identified gap within a funding round which is being led by sophisticated, experienced arms’ length private sector investors.  The Scottish Venture Fund will invest on equal terms to the private sector investor(s) and up to a maximum of 50 per cent of the total funding package on a commercial basis.
