Creating Entrepreneurs And Innovators Almost 400 of Scotland’s tech start-up businesses have been supported during the first year of the Techscaler programme.
A total of 387 fledgling firms received assistance from the £42 million Scottish Government project – the most comprehensive of its kind in Europe - which provides fully funded mentoring and advice to early stage business owners. |

SMART: SCOTLAND grants The SMART: SCOTLAND grant is one of Scottish Enterprise's research and development (R&D) grants that aims to support high-risk, highly ambitious projects.
It covers conducting feasibility studies. It’s only available to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) based in Scotland and supports activities that have a commercial endpoint.

Leading Manufacturing Excellence workshop with Toyota This workshop will discuss the Toyota Production System (TPS), which is Toyota’s methodology for achieving high operational performance and is widely admired throughout the world. SWI’s Innovation Project Receives Scottish Enterprise Support Plans to develop a bonded whisky storage facility in Glenrothes have taken a major step forward after the project received support from Scottish Enterprise.
Scotland’s national economic development agency will provide Scotch Whisky Investments (SWI) with a £850,000 grant for its innovative plans in the Fife town, which will provide premium cask storage facilities along with bottling and additional cask services.

Community Climate Grants The team at Fife Climate Hub have teamed up with Climate Action Fife to develop a fantastic grants package to boost climate action in Fife.
Community groups and organisations can apply for funding of up to £1,500 to help tackle the climate emergency thanks to a partnership between Fife Climate Hub and Climate Action Fife. Small Grants Fund, which has been running for two years, offers groups up to £500 to run climate-related events. While Seed and Development Grants is a new funding pot and offers up to £1,000 for climate-related activities and projects.

GoFibre £50,000 Community Fund Independent Scottish broadband provider GoFibre has issued a final call for charitable and community projects across Fife to apply to its new £50,000 fund.
Up to £3,000 of funding is available for each successful recipient, with the GoFurther Fund providing grants to those in Fife who meet any of the relevant criteria.
