Welcome to Fife has launched its biggest ever consumer marketing campaign to promote The Kingdom of Fife as a short break destination during Autumn/Winter. The campaign seeks to extend the visitor season and boost consumer footfall, spend and demand throughout the region in a sustainable and responsible way.

The campaign ‘The Kingdom, where it all begins’ uses a newly produced film, with supporting digital and press content, welcoming those potential visitors to begin their journey of discovery in Fife and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Funding To Develop A New Product Or Process Or Service

The Standard Innovation Voucher funding programme supports projects that bring together a company and a university or further education college to develop a new or pioneering idea and increase innovation in business.

The value of each voucher is between £1,000 and £7,500, which covers the project costs and is paid directly to the university or college.

Fourstones Paper Mill to Create 22 Jobs After Major Investment

Fourstones Paper Mill owns the Sapphire Mill at Fettykil in Leslie, formerly the Smith Anderson site. 

The firm has confirmed it is spending an eight-figure sum on a new paper machine – the largest investment in the company’s history.  It also said it is spending over £7 million on local services for the installation.

Home Energy Scotland offers free, expert, impartial support and advice for registered private landlords in Scotland who would like to improve the energy efficiency of their rental properties. These improvements make properties more attractive to tenants and reduce maintenance issues such as damp, ultimately adding value.

Improving energy efficiency should also increase the rating on the property’s Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), helping landlords meet future minimum energy efficiency standards.
