Fife Business Week 2023 Hailed A Resounding Success

InvestFife, the collective brand for Fife Council’s Economic Development Services and Business Gateway Fife, has successfully concluded its 14th annual Fife Business Week, marking a resounding success.

In total, Fife Business Week featured an impressive lineup of twenty events, drawing participation from 504 businesses and stakeholders across the region. Attendees were able to take advantage of a wealth of knowledge and networking opportunities, with events designed to address specific challenges faced by the business community.

The ‘Win Your Dream Christmas’ competition gives Fifers the chance to win a £1,000 Fife Gift Card to spend with over 150 local businesses.

The Fife Gift Card, part of the Scotland Loves Local Gift Card concept, can be spent with over 150 local businesses, including shops, restaurants, and attractions, giving people an easy way to support local.

£2,000 Grant for Disposing of Non Compliant Vehicle

Eligible Scottish micro businesses and sole traders can apply for a £2,000 grant when they dispose of a vehicle that is not compliant with the Low Emission Zone (LEZ) standards in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Dundee.

To be eligible, you must be operating a non-compliant vehicle within 20 kilometres of the LEZ and dispose of the vehicle through a SEPA-authorised treatment facility.

National Lottery Open Fund for Organisations - Creative Scotland

The National Lottery Open Fund for Organisations is a funding programme for artistic, creative and cultural organisations based in Scotland.

Organisations can apply for between £1,000 and £100,000 to support creative activity that lasts up to 18 months.

£500,000 Funding For Women And Young People In Agriculture

Funding of over £500,000 will help women and young people develop new agricultural skills and further their careers within the farming sector.

The Next Generation and Women in Agriculture Practical Training Funds will provide successful applicants with £500 each to help pay for practical training courses relevant to farming and crofting.

This Scottish Government fund will help social landlords across Scotland install zero emissions heating systems and energy efficiency measures across their existing housing stock.

This funding can be used for the retrofit or refurbishment of existing housing and is not for new build social housing.
