New Tourism Strategy For Fife Launched

Welcome to Fife, the tourism brand for Fife Council, has launched a new strategy, demonstrating the priorities for tourism in Fife over the next seven years.

The strategy, which was developed in consultation with local businesses and stakeholders, recognises that visitor trends have changed in a post-Covid world, with more emphasis now placed on sustainability, wellness and authentic experiences.

Krafty Expands Into Kinghorn In New Collaboration

Krafty Fine Drinks, the independent wine, beer, spirits and cigar specialist run by couple Ross Lindsay and Megan Lindop, has expanded into Kinghorn after only 18 months in Kirkcaldy’s Kirk Wynd.

Ross said, “It was never the plan to have just one shop. We always wanted to build a chain, and have our eyes on other towns, and Kirk Wynd has been successful enough to let us do that.”

Fife Audio Producer’s ‘Pilgrimage For A Pint’ To Air Christmas Eve

If you tune in to BBC Radio 4 at 4:30 pm this Christmas Eve (Sunday 24th December) you will hear the work of local audio producer Lewis Harrower.

Having started off his studies in Radio at Fife College, Lewis went on to achieve an MA in Radio Production. Now, he has worked with Soundscape Productions on this fun and upbeat documentary.

Fife College Joins Too Good To Go To Fight Food Waste And Support The Community

Fife College has partnered with Too Good To Go, the world’s largest surplus food platform, in a move to tackle food waste and support the local community amid the ongoing cost of living crisis.

The College has already distributed 271 ‘Surprise Bags’, helping save an estimated 677.5 kilograms of CO2e emissions.
