Unlock Up to £100k in Start Up Funding 

Scottish EDGE is Scotland's biggest business funding competition, offering grants and loans from £10,000 to £100,000 to help grow your start up, social enterprise or charity.

Funded by the Hunter Foundation, the Royal Bank of Scotland, the Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise and private donors, the competition is delivered twice per year and has supported 569 early-stage Scottish businesses with over £25 million in award funding.

Smart City Technologies: LiDAR on the Tay Road Bridge

Discover how a unique partnership between LiDAR specialist Digiflec and the Scotland 5G Centre is transforming traffic monitoring in Scotland and beyond.

Digiflec as one of the winners of the Tay5G Innovation challenge fund, are developing a project for Dundee City, to move forward on its journey to becoming a Scottish Smart City. 

The project with the help Scotland 5G Centre, and the use of the 5G outdoor testbed in Dundee, sees how Digiflec’s Connected Intelligent Infrastructure Monitoring (CiiM) system uses cutting-edge LiDAR technology to transmit data over 5G and understand how the Tay Road Bridge is used by vehicles and other road users.

Fife Businesses Thrive At Southern Manufacturing & Electronics Conference

DYW Fife will host its first Business Breakfast of 2024 on Thursday 14th March at the Dean Park Hotel, Kirkcaldy. This will be followed by Fife Chamber of Commerce's Manufacturing and Engineering Showcase.
