Fairer Workplaces Fund Launched A fund to help businesses, charities and other organisations adopt fair work practices has opened for applications.
Grants are available to implement changes such as the delivery of workplace training and processes that support flexible working and help to create and sustain a more diverse workforce.
The Fairer Workplaces Fund adds to Scottish Government measures supporting fair work, including making payment of the real Living Wage and providing an effective voice for workers a condition of grant awards. |

Scottish Co-Investment Fund The Scottish Co-Investment Fund (SCF) from Scottish Enterprise provides match-funding for Scottish start-up, early-stage or growing companies that are seeking investment alongside accredited co-investment partners.
The fund is designed to address a finance gap and support your growth plans.
Funding is available in amounts typically from £100,000 up to £2 million, as part of a total deal size that typically ranges from £200,000 up to £10 million.

Scottish Connections Fund Applications Now Open A fund to help strengthen Scotland’s international diaspora has opened for applications.
The £50,000 Scottish Connections Fund is open to bids from any individual or organisation with a Scottish connection, whether that link is through heritage, education, business, culture, or a broader affinity.
Grants ranging from £2,000 to £5,000 will be awarded to support at least ten new innovative projects that will help bring together Scotland’s diaspora and promote Scottish connections worldwide. Click here to find out more |

Funding For Trade Union Learning Reaffirming the Scottish Government’s commitment to advancing Fair Work and tackling inequalities, it has announced a continued funding package to support trade unions in developing, organising, and delivering work-related learning in Scotland’s workplaces in 2024/25.
The £2.38 million funding is managed by the Scottish Trade Union Congress and will be split between the Scottish Union Learning and the Fair Work in Action Funds.

International Trade Pathway - Smart Duty Management Part 1 - Inward And Outward Processing This FREE International Trade course will teach you how to save money on customs fees and import tax for goods you bring in from abroad to be processed in the UK. Processing can include things like building, sorting and packaging goods, or fixing and refurbishing them.
Inward Processing (IP) is used to obtain relief from customs duties and import VAT on goods that are imported from outside the UK for processing. The basic principle is to allow UK exporters to be more competitive by reducing their processing costs.
