The Entrepreneurial Education Pathways Fund

A new fund has been launched to spark fresh ways to engage young people in entrepreneurship.  This will complement the existing support on offer from Business Gateway Fife.

The Entrepreneurial Education Pathways Fund offers public and private sector organisations grants of up to £250,000 to deliver new and innovative courses and projects to under-18s to encourage more young people, from a wide range of backgrounds, to choose business ownership as a career path.

Fife Businesses take off on learning journey to Farnborough Airshow

Fife businesses recently participated in the successful learning journey to Farnborough Airshow 2024. 

Cerebral Ape, Eurospray, Quality Precision Electronics, and Flightplan Aviation seized the opportunity to establish significant industry connections and explore new market opportunities at the Farnborough Airshow. Their attendance was made possible through the support of Fife Council's Economic Development Team via the Trade Development Programme and funding from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Scotmid Community Grants

Scotmid has recently launched two new funding streams that may be of interest to partners.

The Scotmid Community Grant offers small grants of up to £500, applications are ongoing.

Scotmid Community Connect allows members to decide how £75,000 is shared between nine projects in Scotland. Every time a Scotmid member shops in a Scotmid store they scan their Community Connect Card to receive one Community Connect vote.
