Free workshop Finding Your Online Audience (And Helping Your Audience Find You) Kelowna, Red Deer, Fort McMurray

The National Screen Institute – Canada (NSI) and TELUS STORYHIVE are pleased to bring free training workshop Finding Your Online Audience (And Helping Your Audience Find You) to Kelowna, Red Deer and Fort McMurray this April.

If you’ve got a story to tell – on screen, stage or the written page – the workshop will help you find and connect with your online audience.

This interactive workshop will provide you with a new way of thinking about audience development for current and future projects. You’ll get practical steps for identifying and locating target audiences online using social media and other tools, evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of a project in terms of discoverability, and building actionable strategies to help you find your audience, and let them find you.

  • Develop a framework for discoverability that works for all genres and budgets
  • Understand industry best practices and case studies
  • Find links to free monitoring and tracking tools to measure and optimize results
  • Identify the five steps of every successful audience development strategy
  • Networking opportunities

All workshops run from 1p.m. to 6 p.m.

Workshops are free of charge, but registration is required.

The workshop is presented by Magnify Digital and features an opportunity to meet representatives from TELUS STORYHIVE and National Screen Institute – Canada (NSI).

Yorkton Film Festival has announced the first round of nominees for this year’s Golden Sheaf Award Competition and lots of NSI grads have made the cut.

The second round of nominees – digital media and craft category nominations – will be announced mid-April.
