NSI’s Angela Heck and Kaya Wheeler up for Winnipeg Arts Council Awards Posted: 01 Jun 2018 02:30 PM PDT Congratulations to NSI’s Angela Heck (above left), director of digital and strategic initiatives and NSI Features First alumni, and Kaya Wheeler, associate manager of programs and development, who are both nominated for 2018 Winnipeg Arts Council Awards. Kaya is up for the RBC On the Rise Award (nominated by NSI) and Angela is nominated for the Making a Difference Award (nominated by Winnipeg filmmaker Madison Thomas). Kaya is recognized for her beading artistry and community involvement, and Angela is recognized for her career in arts administration across a variety of artistic organizations in Winnipeg and beyond. Read more about the nominees. The awards take place June 7, 2018 at the Fort Garry Hotel in Winnipeg.
