Register now for CBC New Indigenous Voices information webinar

If you or someone you know is thinking about applying for CBC New Indigenous Voices, you can register for a free Q+A webinar on March 5 with program faculty and alumni who will be ready to answer your questions about the application process and training. Get tips and advice to help you put together a great application ready for the March 21 deadline.

The webinar takes place from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Central Time on March 5.

And don’t worry if you can’t make the webinar. We’ll be posting video of the webinar here shortly after March 5.

CBC New Indigenous Voices (formerly NSI New Voices) is a culturally-sensitive training course that exposes young Indigenous people aged 18-35 to a variety of creative and challenging employment opportunities in film, TV and digital media.

During the course, students:

  • get inspired to pursue training and work in film, TV and digital media;
  • learn skills like story development, directing, producing, production design, casting and more;
  • pitch, write, shoot and edit their own short films;
  • experience a variety of creative and challenging job options with industry internships;
  • meet writers, directors, producers and broadcasters; and
  • learn Indigenous history and Anishinaabe spiritual traditions.
