Production wraps on new Robert Cuffley horror feature Posted: 02 May 2019 12:53 PM PDT Production has wrapped on Bright Hill Road, a new horror film from director Robert Cuffley (NSI Drama Prize, NSI Features First) and screenwriter and novelist Susie Moloney. The film tells the story of the aftermath of a violent tragedy, when a young woman is forced to face her demons at an unusual boarding house. Bright Hill Road stars Siobhan Williams (Adventures in Public School), Agam Darshi (Kingsway) and Michael Eklund (Wynonna Earp). Submit to NewFilmmakers LA’s 2019 Canadian program Posted: 02 May 2019 12:17 PM PDT Have an indie film you want to show to audiences in LA? NewFilmmakers LA invites you to submit to their fest. NewFilmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA) has established itself as a strong gathering place for independent cinema, screening 2,500+ films from over 75 countries. NFMLA are currently programming their 2019 Canadian program. Submission deadline for the Canadian program is May 10, 2019. The monthly festival provides a forum where independent and emerging filmmakers can be recognized for their accomplishments, gain exposure to new audiences and connect with industry professionals for insight.
