Tricia Lee’s project Mother-Daughter gets boost with screenwriting awards Posted: 17 Sep 2019 09:37 AM PDT Feature script Mother-Daughter from writer/director Tricia Lee (NSI Diverse TV Director) was recently named a quarterfinalist in the Academy Nicholl Fellowship and a semifinalist in the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards. Tricia also recently participated in the Producers Guild of America Power of Diversity master workshop and the Athena Film Festival screenwriting lab with the script. Mother-Daughter is a dramedy feature about a lone transgender teen who helps a fiesty undocumented Asian woman escape deportation, and they form an unlikely friendship that helps heal their relationships with their own families.
