Posted: 20 Nov 2020 12:23 PM PST Carved in Stone: Sanannguaqtit ᓴᓇᓐᖑᐊᖅᑎᑦ, produced by Angela Heck (NSI Features First) and Ivan Hughes (NSI mentor), will be broadcast to audiences in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Albert and BC north on CBC, November 21. Carved in Stone: Sanannguaqtit ᓴᓇᓐᖑᐊᖅᑎᑦ, premiered on CBC earlier this month but makes a second appearance on November 21. The film follows Inuit artists who have dedicated their lives to sharing their stories through culture and art. Producers Angela and Ivan hope their documentary inspires audiences to learn about the people who make art possible. The show features Inuit artists Goota and Joe Ashoona, George Arlook, and visual artist Kailey Sheppard. Catch Carved in Stone: Sanannguaqtit ᓴᓇᓐᖑᐊᖅᑎᑦ on CBC November 21, or stream through CBC Gem.
