Zellco Entertainment hosts virtual screening of Smoked Lizard Lips Posted: 18 Feb 2021 03:42 PM PST David Zellis (NSI Totally Television) and Craig Guiboche (CBC New Indigenous Voices) of Zellco Entertainment will host a virtual screening of the Manitoba-made dark comedy Smoked Lizard Lips on February 19. Smoked Lizard Lips, originally released in 1991, follows a recently deposed Central American dictator who relocates to northern Manitoba to start a new repressive regime. The film’s re-release will be streamed through Countryfest Community Virtual Cinema in Dauphin, Manitoba. A portion of the ticket sales will go towards keeping this local movie theatre funded during the COVID-19 pandemic. Zellco Entertainment is a production and distribution company aimed at releasing Canadian titles on streaming platforms like Amazon Prime and iTunes.
