If you’re in Winnipeg this Saturday, October 15, check out the premiere of a new MTS Stories from Home documentary Al Sparks: The Fighting Saint from three NSI grads.

Craig Guiboche (NSI New Voices) serves as editor/producer, Roger Boyer (NSI New Voices, NSI Storytellers) is director of photography/producer and David Zellis (NSI Totally Television) is director/producer.

Al Sparks: The Fighting Saint tells the story of an amazing and humble man who did not receive the recognition he deserved during his time in the boxing ring.

The screening starts at 7 p.m. at the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame and is followed by Q&A with David Zellis and a reception. Event details are on Facebook.
