Congratulations to Kirsten Carthew (NSI Features First, NSI Drama Prize) on being named the 2017 recipient of the WIFT-T DGC Ontario director mentorship.

The two-part program aims to give an emerging Canadian female director the opportunity to enhance her business and creative skills.

Kirsten will first receive business training and one-on-one mentoring with an industry advisor. The second phase will pair her with a DGC Ontario director to work on craft. She also receives a complimentary 2017 TIFF industry pass.

Kirsten’s NSI Features First-developed film, The Sun At Midnight, premiered in 2016 and has since screened in Canada, China, the US, Europe and Australia.
