Molly McGlynn scores directing gig on CBC series Workin’ Moms Posted: 20 Jul 2017 02:45 PM PDT Congratulations to Molly McGlynn (NSI Drama Prize) who’s landed a directing gig on the second season of CBC series Workin’ Moms. Production is currently taking place in and around Toronto, with episodes set to premiere in winter. Workin’ Moms is an original comedy series created by and starring Catherine Reitman that tests the modern ideal that women really can have it all. The series follows the lives of four women as they juggle love, careers and parenthood. Grand Unified Theory screens in NYC and Pennsylvania Posted: 20 Jul 2017 02:41 PM PDT Grand Unified Theory, a feature from David Ray (NSI Features First, NSI Totally Television), continues its festival run this summer with screenings at Kew Gardens Festival of Cinema in New York City and Harrisburg-Hershey Film Festival in Pennsylvania. Kew Gardens Fest runs August 4 to 13 with Grand Unified Theory screening on August 10. Harrisburg-Hershey Film Fest runs September 15 to 20. In the film, the family of brilliant astrophysicist Albert James has a complete meltdown, setting in motion a raucous and hilarious series of events that mirror his radical theories of the behaviour of the universe.
