In the film a married couple struggle to maintain their love and marriage even as a life-altering decision threatens to tear them apart. | Roxann Whitebean’s Little Hard Knox documentary showing online at CBC Short Docs Posted: 04 Oct 2017 12:47 PM PDT Little Hard Knox, a new documentary from Roxann Whitebean (NSI IndigiDocs), is now available online as part of CBC’s short docs programming. Little Hard Knox follows 10-year-old Mohawk boxer Shatekaienthokwen VanDommelen from the community of Kahnawake in Quebec. Roxann also spoke with CBC about why she chose to make a documentary about Shatekaienthokwen. | Posted: 04 Oct 2017 12:38 PM PDT Great Great Great, written and directed by Adam Garnet Jones (Corus Diverse TV Director, NSI Storytellers, Featuring Aboriginal Stories Program), screens tonight only in various Canadian cities and opens at Carlton Cinema in Toronto on Friday, October 6. Landmark Theatres will screen the film in the following cities on Wednesday, October 4: Edmonton, Calgary, New Westminster, Courtenay, Waterloo, Ottawa, Whitby, Cranbrook, Campbell River, Hamilton, Penticton, Nanaimo and Winnipeg. See your local listings for details. The film, which Adam co-wrote with Sarah Kolasky, follows a young woman in a long-term relationship who finds herself searching for something better. Great Great Great is a deeply relatable portrait of a woman who makes us squirm with discomfort while asking us to love some of the most unlovable parts of ourselves.
