Producer Liz Jarvis (NSI Features First) will lead an elements of producing workshop, hosted by On Screen Manitoba, on October 21, 24 and 25, 2017.

The course gives participants an overview of the producer role throughout the stages of independent film production including development, financing, production, post-production and distribution.

A longtime producer at Buffalo Gal Pictures, most recently Liz was supervising producer for Guy Maddin and Evan Johnson’s critically-acclaimed feature The Forbidden Room, which premiered at Sundance 2015, opened the Berlinale Forum and won the Toronto Film Critics’ Association Best Canadian Film of 2015.
