Brianne Nord-Stewart’s web series The Dangers of Online Dating launches November 23 Posted: 16 Nov 2017 12:46 PM PST The Dangers of Online Dating, a new web series from Brianne Nord-Stewart (TELUS Optik Local), launches November 23. With a one year No-Sex-Anniversary looming, Paula, a sexual health nurse, decides to challenge her fears of STIs (they don’t call them STDs anymore) and relationships by online dating. Nine episodes are set for weekly release. A series launch party is also being held on November 23 in Vancouver. 11 films from 18 NSI grads at the 2017 Winnipeg Aboriginal Film Fest Posted: 16 Nov 2017 10:39 AM PST Eleven films from 18 NSI grads screen at this year’s Winnipeg Aboriginal Film Festival (WAFF) which runs from November 23 to 26.
See the full festival schedule. Many of the films screen as part of WAFF’s Manitoba filmmaker night hosted by the Indigenous Filmmakers Association on November 26.
