Belleville Downtown DocFest is running this weekend in Belleville, Ontario, with plenty of films from NSI grads on the schedule.

The fest is a community-oriented documentary 
film festival that seeks to promote awareness of cultural, economic and 
environmental consequences and to encourage civic participation 
resulting in positive change.

• The Road Forward from director Marie Clements (Featuring Aboriginal Stories Program, NSI Storytellers)

• Rumble: The Indians Who Rocked the World from producers Catherine Bainbridge and Christina Fon (both NSI Global Marketing)

• My Millennial Life from director and co-producer Maureen Judge (NSI Global Marketing)

• Indictment: The Crimes of Shelly Chartier (pictured) from directors Shane Belcourt (NSI Totally Television, Featuring Aboriginal Stories Program) and Lisa Jackson (Featuring Aboriginal Stories Program)

• Birth of a Family from writer/director Tasha Hubbard (NSI IndigiDocs, Featuring Aboriginal Stories Program)

• A Better Man from producer Christine Kleckner (NSI Drama Prize)

• Call of the Forest: The Forgotten Wisdom of Trees from producer Merit Jensen Carr (NSI Global Marketing)

Bellville DocFest runs from March 2 to 4, 2018.
