Night Raiders

Night Raiders, from writer/director Danis Goulet (NSI Drama Prize), will be distributed in the US through Samuel Goldwyn Films.

The film was shot in Toronto in 2019 with producers Lisa Meeches (NSI Indigenous programs advisor and NSI Storytellers alumna) and Kyle Irving (NSI Global Marketing) and stars Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers (NSI IndigiDocs program manager).

Samuel Goldwyn Films acquired the US rights to the film earlier this month, shortly after the film’s world premiere at Berlinale International Film Festival in March.

The story takes place in a dystopian world where a Cree woman joins a group of vigilantes to free her daughter from the state in a military-run North America.
